Job Title: Collection Operator (Debt Collection Agent)
Are you a skilled debt collector looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading international debt collection company specializing in the recovery of distressed assets, is expanding its team in Nairobi, Kenya. We are seeking 5 experienced call center debt collection agents to join us on a special 6-month project. What We Expect From You:
• Achieve Collection Targets: Consistently meet or exceed set collection goals.
• Daily Follow-Up: Proactively manage Promise to Pay (PTP) commitments and update statuses to optimize collections.
• Reminders: Send timely debt payment reminders via phone, email, and letters.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure all client information is accurate and up-to-date in the ERP system.
• Negotiation & Settlement: Engage in professional negotiations, restructurings, and follow-ups until accounts are fully settled.
• Professional Debt Collection: Adhere to all collection policies, guidelines, and regulations while collecting debts in a firm yet professional manner.
• Claims Filing: File claims through the small claims court e-filing system.
• Court Notices: Send timely court notices to debtors via email and WhatsApp.
• Repayment Monitoring: Track repayments from debtors with cases filed in court.
What You Should Have:
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Business Administration.
• Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a call center debt collection agent.
• Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent Negotiation skills
o Proficiency in MS Office and Google Spreadsheets.
